Boots with Flare

Don't you love the look of leather mixed with different textures and textiles! I am totally crushing on these Union Jack boots from Hunter, and I just found Miss B a pair very similar to the Tory Burch's by Tommy Hilfiger for Kids. Now if it could just drop about another ten degrees so we can start rocking boots, scarves and skinnies everyday...

Birchbox: October

I've been a little delayed with posting Miss B's room pics, a few items ended up being back ordered, but I Hope to have today or tomorrow and get the pics up.

In the meanwhile...lets talk about the awesome Birchbox this month...

Vanilla Creme Chapstick with Hydration Lock
Love this stuff! I put this stuff on my lips last night and they feel sooo soft. Also got a $1 off coupon with it in the birchbox t o get another ;)
Miss Jessie's Original Creme de la Creme Conditioner
I tried this last night; smells really nice, and my hair is soft enough, I wasn't really overly wowed with it though
Ehh, it's okay, I actually really enjoy getting all these little perfumes, it lets me change things up without a big investment, I've got a whole little box of the. The only perfume I ever buy is Dolce Gabana, "Light Blue" ♥♥♥ it, I get like 5 bottles at Christmas from all my different family, and they always mess with me to try something else out, but I can't it's my "signature-Scent" lol ;)
Pop Beauty Aqua Lacquer
I got the darker red color "splashing scarlet" and I like that its actually a brush on the end, not squeeze tip. Give just a hint of color, definite thumbs up
okay, next to the chapstick, this  was my fave. The cleanser has a really great herby smell, which I loved, and it made my face really tingly and fresh feeling, definitely a good morning wash!

There was also a fun ziploc baggy with a white geometric lattice pattern on it that was pretty cute, didn't catch a snap though.

Birchbox: September

I received this Birchbox last month while we were in the midst of a sporadic decision to buy a new house, lol, so I honestly haven't even gotten a chance to try out any of the products, other than the shampoo and conditioner, which were useful during the move.

Perfect LBD

Do you every once in while flip through a new catalog and come to a halt because there's an instant connection with an outfit, shoes, piece of decor, etc? That was totally the case with this Little Black Dress. I got a new Nordstrom's catalog in the mail yesterday, and this dress was about three pages in. We were still driving down the long drive to our house, and I already had it over in the hub's face saying "look, isn't this sooo pretty, wouldn't this be perfect for a holiday party??" He was less enthusiastic, basically mmhmm hun, whatever you want ;) Well once we get our other house sold, this pretty little piece will be making it way to my closet, Christmas parties, here I come!

Miss B's New Room...In Progress

Not the best pics, but all I managed to snap on the Iphone before calling it a night. I got B's dressage photos up, waiting for our goodies from the Pottery Barn Emily & Meritt collection to get in (design board here & collection here).
Recycled frames from the old house, from Michael's I believe. Picked these because they've got a slight gold hue around the edges and center. Ignore the Buccaneers football chair below, B borrowed from her brothers room, because the matching chair is still at the other house.

And a quick peek of the living room....our furniture actually fits this house better than the last I think :) Allot of that is because we went with a brown undertone paint color in lieu of grey. Checkout our awesome rug I mentioned here from PB, loving this thing!!

Wanted: more Kitchen Storage

Sorry no house tour updates yet, the moving still continues....good news is we got a contract in on our home we are moving from, and they want to close in just a little over two weeks. So now we are in full motion trying to get the rest of our stuff out. We knew we were getting rid of most of the playroom and office stuff, but the biggest challenge we're facing now, no more room in the kitchen, we went from a Gi-normous kitchen, to a regular, nice size kitchen, so where do we put all our stuff. Here's some inspiration, we're still trying to figure what direction we're going to go, we definitely want additional cabinetry for storage and we also know we want to incorporate a desk area our computer since we lost our office...

This is just clean and simple, and I like the deeper cabinets in the middle

This has a bit more detail above the computer, but not sure if it doesn't give it to much of a "country" feel...I am in the country now, but I don't want to go all rooster and lace, ya know ;)

I really like the open shelves, but then I think of dust...

This has the open shelves with glass doors, perfect, and I love the thought of a mini fridge built in for our my wine

Simple and effective

I could handle one open shelf like this, and I like that the desk dips lower

Loving the glass with cabinet lighting, gives it a china cabinet feel, would love to display my crystal in here with some of my gorgeous ceramic and wooden bowls

Except for the frosted glass, I really like this, it would save me on granite costs as well as create more pantry are...think this might be spot on, with clear glass and lighting I could still display my crystal, and we could probably still make one of those doors into the mini fridge area...

Concrete Art

Has anyone else seen this new product at Home Depot, it's Rust-Oleum NeverWet? It allows you to spray on a design, then it dries clear, and when it rains, voila! you're stencil shows up. I think this would be really run along our super long driveway, can't wait to try!
